World HQ.

This is my first entry from Fripp World HQ II.

Fripp World HQ I overlooked Wimborne Minster, a site of Christian worship since at least the 7th.century. Cook Row is just off Wimborne Square, the centre of an (architecturally, primarily Georgian) market town. The Quarter Jack, the building's formal name in the town, is now the office of my long-term pal & estate agent Alan Cosgrove. Alan replaced me as a junior negotiator when I left my Father's employ en route to a degree in Estate Management (professional musicianship intervened).

World HQ II is right in the centre of the centre of Bredonborough, in the market square, and looks towards the spire of Bredonborough Abbey above Georgian roofs opposite. This is also a centre of Christian worship since at least 700 AD when the first form of the Abbey was built (of wood). Not as self-involved in 2004 as in 1980, I am more inclined to the name of World HQ and allow the Fripp to take care of itself.

This morning: listening to & preparing suggestions for Fripp & Eno III. I called Brian and presented them. Good stuff.

This afternoon: T left for Peterborough where she has a solo performance this evening.

18.20 The first cappuccino brewed here is now gently slipping downwards. A tasty brew.
